made it myself. ran a pipe under the bumper to the other side ande welded 2 exhaust tips on the other end.

I'm told there is no 'all' english version (despite all the RUclips videos). Something that night help. Find all of the INPA.ini files in the various programs. Open the file and where it says VARIANT enter ENGLISH.MET. Where it says LANGUAGE enter ENGLISCH. YES make sure it has the 'C' in it. Then save that file. I think there are more than one. They are in the CFGDAT folder and SGDAT folder. There may be more.

Got a rear M Bumper and cut through the diffuser. I diid mine with 4 tips welded to a flute like exhaust that runs behind the diffuser.

No. Inpa is best for checking. To change features I recommend BMW Scanner 1.4. Muche easier to use and can disbale all bulb checks.

Hi, installed M5 front and rear bumpers,

its actually D which heats up the gearbox more because it is slipping constantly. in n and p its heating less. this ofcourse only applies to idleing. never during driving should you put it in N but when standing in traffic lights for an extended amount it will be better

It could. I know that an unsealed fuel system can cause poor performance and idle.

Which part of the driveshaft are you referring to as middle? The spindle that enters the gearbox or the knuckle right in the middle of the driveshaft?

Also got an 6sp 540i, but an straight 6 sounds much nicer in my opinion also much easy'er to drive it come's a life in a much higher rpm range what also help's to keep you driving the maximum speed that's allowed, with the 540i iam always driving way to fast! Always in losing youre license territory in my country, you do not notice it at all, and everytime when i look to the speedo cluster iam shocked because iam drivin like 200 kmh where 130 is allowed! That's 20 above the normal ticked law it go's directly to court sh*t... Almost every month i get an speeding ticket, and they aren't cheap in the netherlands last one did cost me like 800euro's! and everytime i get one it's getting more expensive! Here they also try you out to race withou't knowing it are the fed's, and after that they f*ck you up, with there weird speed measure computer things. Its made for the autobahn to cruise around with 155mph without any problems been there and done it in germany, For every one that want to buy one i suggest to take an 530i over the 540i they aren't that much slower with an manual tranny, cheaper to maintain, and are much easy'er to control youre speed's ;)

Why would it destroy the box? If it did, don't you think the manufacturer of that box wouldn't have made some kind of system to avoid doing it? Letting it turn in D while stopped actually makes more heat because of torque converter wasting energy = more heat

Incorrect,when on D oil is actually circulating trough the box..When coasting on N,the oil is not flowing through the box...

@@martinnikolov2363 where did you get these facts from? Which is funny, because when I flushed an auto box, I did it in P or N, and the oil simply flowed out of the lines. Which makes sense because the torque converter is attached to the flywheel and pumps around. Would make one hell of a badly designed autobox if it didn't lol. Only the pressure slightly increases when you put in D, but it always circulates.

That's what i meant,because at high speeds coasting on N,there is not enough oil flushing through the gearbox..I didn't say it right..
